Hi, I'm Joshua Pollak!
I'm pleased to welcome you into my creative world. After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, although I'm frequently globetrotting in an effort to expand my personal and creative horizons.
When I was 17, I first picked up a camera. Since then, it has been a complicated and beautiful relationship that has helped me grow into the person I am now, and has taken me to new heights and beautiful locations. For that, I am forever grateful.
The photographs I've taken have served as memory banks for the moments that I never want to forget. They help me seek motivation and inspiration, and are always guaranteed to bring a smile to my face.
At the end of the day, I want to create images that do exactly that for you. Whether you are purchasing a print, having portraits taken, or capturing one of life's precious moments, the goal is always the same. When you look at the photos,
I want them to inspire smiles, memories, and dreams.
I hope that the decision you have made to work with me acts exactly as the quote says. Every time you look at one of my prints on your wall or look back at the shots we've taken, I want you to be filled with positive and enlightening emotions, and be glad that you decided to engage with my photography.
