Alex and I grew up together, so I was really excited when she reached out to me to hire me to take her headshots! Knowing the person you're photographing makes for an amazing and calm environment, which usually makes the shots feel more natural. When I showed up to her house for the session, it felt just like seeing an old friend. We said our hellos and quickly got started, which gave us plenty of time to experiment and make sure we got all the shots we wanted.
