While small compared to the behemoths we see in most other countries, the cities in Switzerland are small but they have their charm. During my time spent exploring the country, we spent plenty of time in between spots and killing some time in Lucerne and Zurich. There were no looming skyscrapers, no intense noise, just a bunch of people enjoying their lives. Cafes were lively, bars were busy, and the streets were full of chatter. Standing alone, those three qualifiers would make a city enjoyable on its own, but when you factor in the natural beauty that was so close to the city, it puts them over the top. From boat rides to gondolas to beautiful sunsets, we were treated to beauty around every corner.
