Autumn in New England

Shot in Collaboration with Nia Lawson and Stefan Colaco

The crisp air of fall is addictive.

Once you get that first breath, you can't wait for the next. Since my first foliage chase, I've felt connected with the leaves and their temperamental, annual changes. I've yet to encounter a feeling that mimics the rush I get when I see those reds and oranges.

This endeavor through New Hampshire was a bit trickier than others: unpredictable weather; privatization of nature; and lots of ground to cover. I was a bit taken out of my creative process this time around, which presented me with a challenge to sharpen up.

Along with the challenge comes an opportunity to grow. So despite the conditions, I wouldn't trade times like these for the world; out in nature, alongside incredible people, cider in hand, donuts in mouth, and the chance to improve my craft.

So until the next time I find myself chasing the change of colors, these memories will keep me company and remind me what is to come the next time the heat of the summer wanes.
