Northern Lights in Norway
Norway is widely regarded as one of the best countries to view the Northern Lights. Why, you may ask? Norway's position deep into the Northern hemisphere, mixed with its unusually-clear winter skies caused by its jagged fjords, provides it with the perfect combination of ideal conditions and ideal location. On this 2 week trip, Jake, Jack, and I road tripped in a camper van to catch this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. While we still ran into some challenges with solar storms and some occasional clouds, we were treated to some wonderful sights.
